AEL can perform phytoplankton analysis with or without biovolume. Each sample is analyzed under a microscope by an experienced technician. Standard Operating Procedures issued by the EPA is followed to identify species and calculate biovolume.

Typical TAT is 5 working days.

Samples can be collected in an unpreserved container and chilled to <6°C. Upon receipt we will preserve with Lugol’s Iodine.
